Manuel Ramirez

In his current role at Southwest Airlines, Manuel Ramirez is responsible for the adoption, engagement, measurement, training and continuous improvement of Southwest’s implementation of IBM Connections 5.0. Before joining the Communication and Collaboration Solutions Team, Manuel worked with Southwest’s Customers via social media (Twitter, Facebook, and FlyerTalk). The communication and relationship building skills he learned while on the Social Care Team were crucial to his success in his current role. Being an advocate for his Customers, both internal and external, comes naturally to him; which has allowed him to adapt Connections to meet the needs of his many Customers, while empowering them as they work to complete their day-to-day tasks.
